ON THE BOARDS
You’re about to take your last bite of pizza when you hear it. It’s starts faint, but isn’t long until you can clearly make out the sound. The mummers strut is like a siren call. The crowds start to part and brightly colored rows of mummers come into view. This is a typical Tuesday summer night on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Along with the fresh salt air and the sound of the ocean crashing is live entertainment for the entire family through July and August.
On Thursday evenings, come be a part of Family Night. There’s entertainment for everyone on every block from 6th to 14th. Live music, magicians, stilt walkers and more – all from 7:00-9:00pm.
Sounds of happy music and sights of happy people dancing together fill the Boardwalk on these specialty weeknights. If you aren’t a dancer, you’ll still find yourself hard pressed not to start moving… and perhaps even break out into a strut. We warned you. This fun is contagious.
