Bring your family for fresh air fun in OC
I mark my progress through the Block Party by the type of cookies consumed. I usually start walking north and stop at Wards for a chocolate chip cookie. As I keep walking, I pick up a snickerdoodle from Crazy Susan’s. When I get to stop and listen to Tidal Wave, I eat the snickerdoodle and mark the Block Party as complete. This year, I didn’t get to do that, but there’s still activities you can do to support small businesses over Indian Summer weekend.
Block Party
The Block Party has been converted to Downtown Tables Sales outside of their businesses. No vendors will be present.
There will also be a virtual Block Party held from October 9-11. Check out the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce’s website for more deals and details.
Boardwalk Table Sales
Boardwalk table sales are back!
“This has always been an end of season tradition for the boardwalk,” said Wes Kazmarck, president of the Ocean City Boardwalk Merchants Association.
Wes is looking forward to this event, as are the other merchants.
“This is very safe. We were hoping to at least salvage something. The merchants are excited. It’s a great chance for our customers to get awesome sales,” said Wes.
Downtown and Boardwalk table sales will be held from October 2-4, and again on October 9-12.
