Things to Do in Ocean City NJ This Weekend
Market Madness returns to the Ocean City Civic Center March 14–15, bringing together dozens of local businesses for a weekend shopping event featuring merchandise, food trucks, music, and giveaways.
The event highlights Ocean City’s small business community along the Boardwalk and Downtown Asbury Avenue shopping districts.
Now in its fifth year, Market Madness has become an early-season tradition that highlights many of the shops and attractions visitors love from the Boardwalk and Downtown Asbury Avenue.
This year’s Market Madness will take place March 14 and 15 at the Ocean City Civic Center, located at Sixth Street just off the Boardwalk. More than 40 Ocean City businesses will be under one roof with awesome steals and deals, promotions, and prize giveaways throughout the weekend.

Market Madness brings together a wide range of Ocean City retailers, boutiques, and family attractions in one indoor space.

The event provides an opportunity for businesses to connect with customers and showcase products ahead of the busy summer season.
Food Trucks and Entertainment
In addition to shopping, the event will feature food trucks stationed outside the Civic Center, including Las Olas Taqueria, Jay’s Crab Shack, and Phat Jawns, plus drinks from Ocean City Coffee Company.
Inside the venue, DJ Jody Levchuk will provide music and entertainment throughout the day.
Market Madness hours are:
Saturday, March 14 — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, March 15 — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is free. The Civic Center is located near the Boardwalk at Sixth Street.
