Chef Bill McGinnity knows good food. When he took over Cousin’s back in 2006 (it was opened by the Carnuccio family in 1980), his goal was to provide delicious meals that made guests feel like they were eating with family. Today, making people happy with his delicious Italian cuisine and outstanding customer service is what Chef McGinnity loves best. In fact, he was recognized for his service to the OC community with the Citizen of the Year award in 2024. The Cousin’s experience is like being invited to your Italian friend’s house for dinner. It’s charming, familiar, and the food tastes like it was made with love. The beloved north end restaurant’s menu is large and flavorful with dishes like the Cousin’s Special – shrimp, scallops, crabmeat and clams sautéed in a garlic wine sauce, burrata salad, and the classic chicken parm. You can even have your private party at Cousin’s. They offer takeout for holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, too.
