Barefoot Market
Description
They say cool coffee shop, cool customers, right? Or perhaps we just think that from our experience at Barefoot Market. Barefoot is a market at its core, with prepared salads, sandwiches, soups, oats to go, local art, chutneys, crackers, tea towels, mugs, coffee beans, and more. But this market stands out with some of the tastiest brews, baked goods, and bites you’ll have on the island. This combo of good coffee (La Colombe) and good fare attracts customers from all over – who appreciate the whimsical, happy vibe and the tasty treats. On our last visit we overheard a woman say she heard this place had the best scones so she was there to try them out. Everyone in the place nodded in agreement. In addition, owner Jennifer serves breads, cookies, sandwiches, soups, bowls, quiche, and salads that you can eat inside at a table, on the porch, or take home. These aren’t your average eats either – these are gourmet takes on tradition. There’s a full coffee and espresso bar, too.
