It’s gonna be May – the first 2025 issue of Ocean City Mag has arrived

There are many certainties of beach life at the Jersey Shore.
One of them happens about the end of March, when there is a palpable, collective yearning for hot island life. Makes me want to hit fast forward just thinking of the seagull’s call on a cloudless day that’s so scorching the asphalt burns your feet as you run across that last street to the beach.
But let’s not get too far ahead. Spring can be the perfect apres for the frigid winter. Its pleasant days ease us back outside, as hammock afternoons and beach walk mornings begin to play on repeat.
Speaking of playing on repeat… May 2025 is the 91st issue of Ocean City Magazine. My husband Bill and I launched this mag in the summer of 2010, on an idea based on our love for OC and its community. From day one, the support we received was incredible – and connecting the awesome community of OCNJ and its surrounding areas has been a wild, fun ride ever since. It’s easy after all these years to know creating this magazine takes an entire village. We’re filled with gratitude for everyone who helps us make the magic happen each month, like our longtime contributors, our hardworking team of artists, the business community who support this publication with their sponsorships (check them out!), and our readers, who love to grab each issue and collect them all. Thank you everyone for everything.
Watching (and documenting) the community through the past 15 years as you make impacts around the county and beyond, celebrating businesses as they come (and as they go), and following along with an ever-changing, ever-loved island is pretty cool, inspiring.
