Veterans Day Program
Beginning at 11am, a Veterans Day service will take place in honor of our veterans. Location to be determined.
NOVEMBER 12
Winterfest by the Sea
Happening from 9am-5pm, the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their annual Winterfest by the Sea shopping extravaganza inside the Civic Center. You don’t want to miss this spectacular vendor show!
NOVEMBER 24
Annual Fast & Furriest 5k Turkey Trot
What better way to start Thanksgiving than a turkey trot on the Boardwalk? Sponsored by the Humane Society of Ocean City, the race will take place from 7-10am. Registration and further information can be found by calling 609-398-9500 or by visiting their website.

Christmas in Downtown
Known as “Our Miracle on Asbury Avenue”, Christmas in Downtown will kick off the Christmas season. Come join the fun from 2pm-5pm and see a special visitor make his way down off the roof of City Hall.

Horse & Carriage Ride

Christmas Parade
Beginning at 6pm, the annual Christmas Parade will take place beginning on the corner of 6th & Asbury Avenue. Register to participate at ocnj.us/Christmas-parade.

First Night
Beginning at 4pm, celebrate the New Year in style down at the shore! A complete schedule of events is to be determined and will lead up to the fireworks show at midnight.

Veterans Day Ceremony
A ceremony to honor all veterans will be taking place at Veterans Park beginning at 11am. This hour-long ceremony includes laying of wreaths and sharing kind words of praise for those who have served. This event is free to the public and all ages are welcome.

Holiday Parade & Mayor’s Tree Lighting Ceremony
Kick off the holiday season in spirit by experiencing a merry parade and tree lighting ceremony! The parade will begin at 6pm at 31st Street and Central Avenue and will proceed to 84th Street and JFK Boulevard. A tree lighting ceremony will follow at Excursion Park.

Holiday Lighting Contest
Houses and businesses of all kinds are invited to participate in the annual Holiday Lighting Contest! Pre registration is required. Judging will begin at 5:30pm and prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third places. Registration and further information can be found by calling 609-263-0050.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks
Come celebrate the new year by watching some fireworks on the beach! The fireworks will be set off on JFK Boulevard beach to kick off 2023.
