The Ocean City Historical Museum is featured in the Welcome to Ocean City Guidebook 2020
DON’T have a DeLorean? Don’t fret. Nearly as quick as you can say, “Great Scot!” you can go back in time simply by walking through the doors of the Ocean City Historical Museum tucked inside the Ocean City Community Center.
With over 50 years in Ocean City, the Historical Museum makes local history fun, interesting and accessible. Whether you’re a native, a long-time resident or a day-tripper visiting OC for the first time, you owe it to yourself to learn just a little about the history of this eight-mile barrier island off the coast of New Jersey.
The museum is an ever-changing testament to the many volunteers who give their time and resources to ensure that Ocean City’s vibrant history stays alive. Explore its extensive collection of Ocean City heirlooms and memorabilia. They also welcome you to visit their new museum gift shop.
