StoryWalk® invites participants to seek kindness

Ocean City Free Public Library’s current StoryWalk®, “Be Kind,” asks participants to think about what kindness really means.

A line in the book asks “What does it mean to be kind anyway?” and follows a little girl’s learning on ways to be kind to her classmates, family, neighbors, and community. The book’s echoing theme is “Kindness grows.”

“Be Kind” is a children’s book written by Pat Zietlow Miller and illustrated by Jen Miller. Participants in the StoryWalk® can read the book as they walk, find kindness hearts in the park, and win a prize by completing a survey.
