31ST ANNUAL DOO DAH PARADE

The 31ST ANNUAL DOO DAH PARADE is set for Saturday, April 16 at noon. Grand marshal this year will be Mark Soifer.  He started the parade and this will be his final Doo Dah as he plans to retire at the end of the year. Mayor Gillian was honored to name him grand marshal. The parade starts at noon, Sixth Street and Asbury Ave., turns to Boardwalk at 12th St. and ends at the Music Pier.

The annual PieAsco is held in front of the Music Pier after the parade. Folks sit in grandstands and smoosh each other with shaving cream pies.

This event honors the late Soupy Sales, a great supporter of Doo Dah and a good friend of Ocean City’s. To enter the Parade as an individual or group, visit www.ocnj.us/doo-Dah-Parade or call (609) 399-6111.
