Upcoming Events in Ocean City – March

(March 5) The Ocean City Intermediate School FISHING SALE & FLEA MARKET:  New, Used, Collectible Fresh/Saltwater Tackle. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Intermediate  School Gymnasium, 1801 Bay Ave. Free Parking, Refreshments, Door Prizes. Admission $4 adults, $1, Children 13 and under. Children under 6 years old are free with paying adult. Any OC student with ID $1 admission.

 

(March 16) THE OCEAN CITY STRATEGIC RECOVERY PLANNING REPORTwill be presented at 6:30 p.m. in the Chris Maloney Lecture Hall of the Ocean City Free Public Library. The program will be presented by the Ocean City Environmental Commission in partnership with the Library. Randall Scheule of Scheule Planning Solutions LLC will be the featured speaker. (March 19-20) SPRING FESTIVAL OF GUARANTEED AMERICAN HANDCRAFTS and Fine Art is set from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace.  Features include glass, jewelry, watercolors, oil paintings, Beach and Bay Photography, candles, soaps, lotions, leather goods, gourmet food items, baked goods, woodcarvings, seashore décor and much more. The $3 admission benefits the Ocean City Food Cupboard, Atlantic City Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and Shore Medical Center. For information, call 1-800-822-4112.

 

(March 26) The Woof n’ Paws PET FASHION SHOW: 11 a.m. at Carey Stadium, 6th St. off Boardwalk. Categories include Best Dressed, Bathing Suit, Intelligent Pet Tricks, and more. New this year SMALL DOGS IN CARRIAGES. Ribbons awarded. Best of Show receives the DEAN SCHOFIELD Woof n’ Paws Plaque of Perfection, in honor of Dean Schofield a dedicated Ocean City Public Relations volunteer.
