The List September/October

Hula

The party doesn’t stop in OC after Labor Day. There are still tons of beach days to be had and plenty of events to enjoy. Here are six ways to play in OCNJ in September and October.

  1. Mele Kalikimaka
Keep the Hawaiian spirit (and the sweet memory of Hula’s teriyaki sauce!) going through winter by snagging a Christmas ornament at The Hula Restaurant & Sauce Company, 940 Boardwalk.
  2. Stay in the sunshine
Sip a Midnight Mango smoothie – sunrise juice, apples, bananas, mango, blueberries, and maca- from Goji, 612 Asbury Avenue, and nosh on a delicious, rich, chocolate CBD heart as you walk through Downtown.
  3. Beach snacks
Grab some salt water taffy (we suggest the creamsicle) from Shriver’s Salt Water Taffy & Fudge, 852 Boardwalk, for a fun beach treat.
  4. Surfing safari
Pick up a new surfboard and some wall art that will have you dreaming of the waves all year long at Peace of Wood, 345 West Avenue.
  5. Do it for the medal
Run the Ocean City Half Marathon on October 2 and get a pretty medal when you cross the finish line!
  6. Have a doggone good time
Pet the cute and fuzzy dogs walking on the Ocean City Boardwalk during Dog Day on October 22.
