Backpack name charm

It’s that time and, as much as I don’t want to say it, a new school year is here. Summer camps are a fresh memory, the stores are stocked with back-to-school gear, and the smell of fall lingers on the horizon. To get ready for all the back-to-school goodness, my boys and I spent some time on a cloudy day making bookbag charms for their new bags. It helps get them excited for school! Following the name bracelet ’90s trend in a different way… It’s a quick simple craft that your littles will love. I’m sure of it.

MATERIALS YOU’LL NEED.

  • Key rings
  • Scissors
  • Fishing line
  • Letter beads
  • Other fun beads

BACKPACK NAME CHARM INSTRUCTIONS.
1. All you need are some key rings, scissors, fishing line, letter beads, and other fun beads to incorporate with their names.
2. Simply tie some fishing line through the key ring by cutting a strand of line and folding it in half. Place the looped end under the key ring and pull the tail ends of the line over and through the loop. Pull tight.
3. Next all you have to do is find your letters for your name and start stringing your beads on. Knot off the end when done. And add it to your backpack! Simple and sweet.
4. You can create so many different charms. Use encouraging words like peace and love. Or just use pretty beads by making different patterns. Just a fun way to add a little extra love to your backpacks!

BY THE WAY.
Hope you have fun with it and I hope everyone had an amazing summer and cheers to a new school year.
