GIRLS WEEKEND

It’s time to put yourself first! Girls Weekend Downtown on Asbury Avenue between 6th-14th Street. Fashion show kick-off event on Friday evening, shopping and dining specials all weekend, accommodation packages, wellness classes, and so much more!

OC CON SUPER HERO RUN, ONE MILE & KIDS SUPER HERO OBSTACLE DASH

OC CON COMIC BOOK & MEMORABILIA SHOW

APRIL 9

DOO DAH PARADE Welcome in the Spring season with this comedy parade complete with over 300 basset hounds. Noon on Asbury Avenue from 6th-12th Street and then up to the Boardwalk ending at 6th and Boardwalk.

April 9

THE GREAT EGG HUNT 1-3pm from  6th-14th Street along the Boardwalk, stop by participating stores, until supplies last.  Rain date: April 10.

APRIL 9

MR. MATURE AMERICA PAGEANT Ocean City presents the Mr. Mature America Pageant for Men 55 years and older, first event of its kind in the United States. Contestants compete in talent, poise, and interview categories.

APRIL 16

THE GREAT EGG HUNT 1-3pm from  6th-14th Street along the Boardwalk, stop by participating stores, until supplies last. Rain date: April 17. 

APRIL 17

EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE

A traditional non-denominational service by the sea. All are welcome. 6:30am at the Music Pier.

DUELING PIANOS SHOW

In front of the Music Pier. The Philly Keys will be performing their hit dueling pianos show starting at noon. Free fun for the entire family! The Philly Keys will take a break for the annual Easter Fashion Promenade. 

EASTER FASHION STROLL

In front of the Music Pier.  Come dressed in your Easter’s best for our Fashion Stroll and meet the Easter Bunny. Judging begins at 1pm. Prizes awarded for Best Dressed Children, Teen, Adults and Family.

UNLOCKING OF THE OCEAN AND BUSINESS PERSONS PLUNGE

Participants dress in business suits, carry briefcases and march into the ocean to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance to welcome the new season. Noon at Moorlyn Terrace Street Beach.

MEMORIAL BEACH CHALLENGE FOR 31 HEROES

NATIONAL MOMENT

OF REMEMBRANCE

Established by Congress… asks Americans, wherever they are at 3pm on Memorial Day, to pause in an act of national unity for a duration of one minute. The moment of remembrance will take place on the Boardwalk.

At Gillian’s Wonderland Pier, 6th Street and the Boardwalk. Celebrate Wonder Bear’s Birthday from 6-10:30pm.  Celebrating 93 years on the Ocean City Boardwalk with fireworks at 9pm.

Kite flying competition at 7pm followed by entertainment on the beach next to the Music Pier. A spectacular Boardwalk fireworks display tops off the evening at 9pm.

OCEAN CITY THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS: MADAGASCAR THE MUSICAL

Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto the stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime. 10:30am at the Music Pier.

SAND SCULPTING CONTEST

Open to kids, teens, adults and families! Registration is free and begins at 9am at the 6th Street Beach. Judging takes place by 11am.

41ST ANNUAL T. JOHN CAREY MASTERS SWIM

Registration 8am. Race starts at 10am at the beach patrol station, 34th Street and the beach. The race will start at 10am.

KILLER QUEEN

The Rock Experience is a rock ‘n roll parable with a significant message for today’s audiences, based on the hit children’s book by Mo Willems. 10:30am at the Music Pier.

Celebrate the Christmas holiday season in July with a special craft and a visit from Santa while he is in town on vacation. Dress in red and green to participate in a wacky Christmas meets summer fashion show. Contest is free. Limited to 150 participants. Open to all ages. 10:30-11:30am at the Music Pier.

OCBP WOMEN’S LIFEGUARD INVITATIONAL RACES

At 34th Street beach, 6:15pm. Women representing the 15 beach patrols on the South Jersey coast will be competing in this annual invitational race.

JULY 23

NIGHT IN VENICE

The City’s annual boat parade is one of the largest in the world. Starts at the Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue  along the bay. Fireworks display to follow parade. Start time 6pm.

OCEAN CITY THEATRE COMPANY PRESENTS: THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR

59TH ANNUAL BOARDWALK ART SHOW

Leading artists from throughout the East Coast exhibit and sell their work. Friday and Saturday from 10am-8pm. Sunday from 10am-6pm.

PAMPER SCAMPER

Annual baby crawling race. Registration is free and begins at 8:30am. Contest begins at 9am at the 6th Street beach. For babies up to 15 months.

112TH ANNUAL BABY PARADE

MISS OCEAN CITY PAGEANT

7pm at the Music Pier. Miss Ocean City 2022 Maddyn Randazzo will be on hand as contestants compete in interview, talent, swimsuit, evening gown and onstage question. Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 22.

MISS CRUSTACEAN HERMIT CRAB BEAUTY PAGEANT

The original beauty contest for crustaceans. Families, kids, businesses and organizations are invited to enter their crustacean in this annual contest. The winner receives the Coveted Cucumber Rind Cup and gets to walk down a flowery runway. Registration is free and starts at 5:30pm at the 6th Street beach. Contest begins at 6pm and is open to all ages.

HERMIT CRAB RACES

Watch as some of the fastest crabs in the universe compete in this world famous race immediately following Miss Crustacean at the 6th Street beach. Registration is free and starts at 5:30pm.

LITTLE MISS OCEAN CITY

7pm at the Music Pier. Scholarship pageant for girls age 8-11. Must live, attend Ocean City schools or be a property owner in Ocean City (parent). Little Miss Ocean City 2022 Arianna Diantonio will be on hand to crown her successor. For registration information, call 609-525-9304.

9/11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY

“A Day to Remember” will include music, prayer and reflections on the memory of lives lost and on the community spirit that was renewed in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. All are encouraged to attend at 6pm at the Ocean City Tabernacle.

CORVETTE SHOW

Over 350 cars exhibited. One of the largest shows of its kind in the East. Models from every year Corvettes were manufactured comprise this colorful show. Displayed on the Boardwalk from 6th-14th Street, 11:30am-4pm. For more information, call 609-457-0081. Register at boardwalkcorvettesclub.com.

SEPTEMBER 17

OCEAN CITY WALK TO DEFEAT ALS

This two mile walk raises funds to support patient services and research.  Help us take steps towards a cure for ALS!  Registration at 9am, walk starts at 10am. For more information, visit www.oceancitywalktodefeatals.org.

OCEAN CITY AIRPORT FESTIVAL

Annual festival at the Municipal Airport, 26th and Bay Avenue from 10am-3pm. Features include a ground display of unusual airplanes ranging from World War II Planes to Classics and Warbirds. The event will feature a parachute jump from Team Fastrax.

PARACHUTE PYROTECHNIC SHOW

Several highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax™ demonstrators exit aircraft 6,000 feet above Ocean City’s beach and Boardwalk. Brilliant white or multi-colored projectile pyrotechnics are then ignited and flown in formation, creating a dazzling display for spectators on the ground. 8pm jump with a landing on the 7th Street beach. Viewable along the entire Boardwalk.

SEPTEMBER 18

BOARDWALK AEROBATIC

AIRSHOW

1pm from 6th-14th Street over the ocean. Be thrilled by some of the best stunt pilots and aerobatic champions in the world plus military demonstrations. 

SEPTEMBER 24 & 25

MS CITY TO SHORE RIDE

With 7,000 cyclists raising $5.6 million this promises to be the best cycling experience on the east coast. This ride is fully supported with catered rest stops, bike support and SAG transportation. For more information, call 800-445-BIKE or visit www.mscycling.org.

OCEAN CITY, NJ JEEP INVASION

OCNJ HALF MARATHON, 5K AND 10 MILE NON-COMPETITIVE WALK/RUN

No race day registration for the Half Marathon. Registration opens in February 2022. Sign up early to save on registration fees.

OCTOBER 8

MAKING STRIDES BREAST CANCER WALK

Join in the fight against Breast Cancer!  The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides is a 5000+ participant breast cancer fundraising 5K walk honoring over 250 survivors in Ocean City. At the 6th Street practice field, 6th Street and Boardwalk. Check-in at 8:30am. Stage program at 9am. Survivor runway lap: 9:50am. Walk start: 10am. OCTOBER 15

PORSCHE BOARDWALK REUNION

Porsches will be displayed from 11:30am-4pm on the Boardwalk from 6th-14th Street. Over 350 Porsches of all models and years between 1954 and 2021 are expected. Free tech sessions on Porsche related topics at the Music Pier. 

OCTOBER 16

JOHN R. ELLIOTT HERO WALK & 5K RUN

The Hero 5k run is at 9:30am. Hero ceremonies are at 10:30am. The walk is a 5k walk along the Ocean City Boardwalk. Registration begins at 8:30am at the Sports and Civic Center. For more information, visit www.herocampaign.org or call 609-626-3880.

OCTOBER 22

DOG DAY

Leashed dogs will be permitted on the Boardwalk from 9am-5pm. All are welcome and encouraged to bring their favorite furry canine friend. Activities for the day include dog-specific vendors at the Music Pier, photo-op stations on the Boardwalk, and the Humane Society of Ocean City’s “Pet of the Year” announcement. 

HSOC “HOWL-O-WEEN” PARADE

Hosted by the Humane Society of Ocean City. Contestants are encouraged to dress themselves and their pooch in zany, fun Halloween costumes in the spirit of the season. Registration begins at 2pm at the Sports and Civic Center. The parade begins at 3pm from 6th-14th Street on the Boardwalk.

OCTOBER 26

The Chamber of Commerce presents its third annual Winterfest By The Sea Holiday Shopping Extravaganza inside the Sports and Civic Center. Craft vendors, food vendors, and a strolling Santa will be present. Shopping hours are 9am-5pm.
