Happy Halloween! There’s plenty of sweet and spooky activities to do in Ocean City and the surrounding areas. Here is a list of local goings on. If you have an event to add to this list, please email [email protected].
OCTOBER 27
Halloween Fest- Ocean City Free Public Library
6-8pm
Play games, hear stories, and participate in a costume contest under the tent outside the library,
OCTOBER 28
Halloween Parade- Asbury Avenue
7:15pm
This year’s Halloween Parade will run from 6th-14th street on Asbury Avenue
OCTOBER 30
“Not So Spooky…” Pancake Breakfast and Character Dining held by the Ocean City Masonic Lodge No 171, 940 Wesley Avenue
Doors open at 8:00am. Character dining is from 8:30-10:30am
Breakfast will be specialty pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, and juice. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for children, and $10 for veterans. Tickets are available at the door and payment is taken as cash or Venmo.
Annual Bowfish Halloween Bash – Bowfish Kids
10am-4pm
Visit Bowfish Kids to celebrate Halloween with a costume party and prizes!
The Endless Autumn– El Capitan’s Taco Shack, Petersburg
12-4pm
Hang out at the shack to hear music from Lovelight Band and browse a variety of surfboards, gear, crystals, candles, and baked goods.
Downtown Trick or Treat- Downtown Merchants
2-4pm
Trick or Treat Downtown with participating merchants.
Halloween Costume Skate- Ocean City Skate Park
4pm- dusk
Visit the Skate Park and skate in your costumes. Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best trick, and more.
Jilly’s Trunk or Treat
6pm-8pm. Set up is at 5:30
Decorate your car and hand out Halloween candy to OC kids! Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Best Trunk, and more! Pre-register your car on their website.
Scarborough Inn Masquerade Ball
6:30pm
Guests of the Scarborough Inn will find themselves dancing and drinking the night away with the ghosts of the Inn.
Caroline’s Annual Halloween Costume Party- Caroline’s by the Bay, Somers Point
8pm-12pm
Come in costume to receive a raffle ticket! Prizes awarded every hour between 8:30 and 11:30pm.
26th Annual “Spoooky… Ooooky…” Halloween Party– Anchorage Tavern, Somers Point
9pm
Judging for the costume party begins at midnight. 1st prize wins $500, 2nd prize wins $200, and 3rd prize wins $100.
