Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

On Sunday, October 18th the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk will kick off at 9th Street and the Boardwalk. Registrations begins at 8:30am and the walk begins at 10am. If you are unable to participate in the walk we suggest heading up to meet the inspiring people who are waliking to honor lost loved ones and celebrate survivors.

Organizers hope to raise awareness about the disease, and money. The American Cancer Society save lives from breast cancer by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research, providing free comprehensive information and support, and helping people take steps to reduce their risk of the disease or find it early when it’s most treatable.
