Outdoor Arts & Craft Show

The Jersey Shore Artisans Guild produces many juried art and craft shows throughout the year but our favorite event is the Huge Summer Outdoor Extravaganza. Strolling the Tabernacle grounds while enjoying the fine craftsmanship of the exhibitors ranks top on our list for fun activities.

JoAnne Schaut, show producer and Director of the Artisans Guild, is very selective in choosing her exhibitors. She finds artisans who craft and sell their items. Mrs. Schaut likes that the artisan is on hand to answer questions about their items. Some highlighted artisans this year include Ginny Waldheim of Northport, Florida of Ya-Ya hats, Lori Curtis of Barnegat, New Jersey who makes dresses for children and their dolls, sisters Martha Becker and Julianne Mackey of the Elephant Ear in Danville, Vermont who offer traditional rug hooked items as well as dog and cat treats, and Richard Aldorasi from Morton, Pennsylvania and his silk scarf making display.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 18th, from 10am to 5pm on the Ocean City Tabernacle grounds at 550 Wesley Avenue, Ocean City, NJ. The cost is $3 which will benefit local charities.
