AT THE CENTER
There’s something about the salt air that gets your creative juices flowing. Lucky for all of us, the Arts Center is a perfect outlet for channeling this energy into something beautiful. Be it a painting, composition, sculpture, or dance routine.
The Center offers more than 40 visual and performing arts group classes (with individual instruction) for all ages year-round including pottery, painting, dance, drawing, and more. There are more than 50 children’s art camps from mid-June to Labor Day including dance, pottery, painting, and crafts. The Boardwalk Art Show, attracting hundreds of exhibitors, is the first weekend in August. Their mission is “to engage the individuals and communities of Southern New Jersey in the kind of participation in the visual and performing arts that leads to individual and collective fulfillment.”

DON’T MISS
The Arts Center is on the second floor of the Community Center at 17th and Simpson. There are three large studios, a music room, dance room, pottery studio, a gallery, and a gift shop. Gallery exhibits change monthly and feature two- and three-dimensional art.
