Ocean City, NJ – Named Best Beach in America 2016!
It was a battle for the ages… well, for the digital age at least. When Coastal Living magazine announced it was doing a March Madness-style bracket for the Best Beach in America, voters turned it on big time for our beloved island. We progressed steadily, winning, and winning until we made it to the finals. Then, we lost.
At least it seemed, until evidence came forward that there was suspicious voting for the other entrant – Huntington Beach, CA.
Coastal Living paused the contest, and let voters know they were looking into the votes.
Well, the investigation is over… and WE WON!
Congratulations to America’s Greatest Family Resort and thank you to everyone who let the country know how much love there really is out there for this eight-mile stretch of fabulous, silky soft beaches.
We love you, Ocean City.
